Q:
How long will it take to finish my project?
A:
This depends on the size and complexity of your project. A typical basement will take between 8 and 12 weeks to complete, for example. We will provide you with a guaranteed completion date in the contract. Projects are broken down into two phases. The first phase: Selections, scheduling and permit process should take between 3 to 6 weeks. The second phase: Construction, usually takes 3 to 12 weeks depending on the complexity of the project.
Q:
What is your guaranteed completion date?
A:
Rendition Builders will guarantee a completion date in your contract. If we go over this date we will pay you $ 50 per business day. (Timely selections will affect this guarantee)
Q:
What is the minimum size of project you will work on?
A:
Because we specialize in custom design and build projects we can work with any size project.
Q:
How does remodeling my kitchen or bath or finishing my basement affect the resale of my home?
A:
Research has shown that a quality finished basement or a custom kitchen or bath will greatly enhance your ability to sell your home. We encourage you to talk to a local realtor to get a true assessment of your home value.
Q:
Do I need to get a permit? Who pulls the permit?
A:
Yes, you need to have a permit. Rendition Builders will obtain the permit and call in all the inspections. Your county government requires you to obtain a permit to ensure your safety. Many homeowners insurance companies will not provide coverage for projects that are completed without a permit.
Q:
Will construction be messy?
A:
We try very hard to eliminate the dust and keep your home as clean as possible. We clean up the job site daily before leaving but be prepared for some dust.
